Has there been a more elusive running shoe in recent memory than the Adidas Adizero Adios Evo Pro 1? Since its inaugural launch late last year, which featured a limited run of 521 pairs and retailed for $500, marathon runners have been awaiting another release of the shoe, and it appears that could be happening soon.
Longtime Adidas collaborator Pharrell Williams debuted his previously unseen “Earth” colorway of the Adizero Adios Evo Pro 1 while practicing to be the final bearer of the Olympic torch in Paris.
According to the Three Stripes, this makeup references the hues of the various landscapes and oceans on our planet. The latest style dons a white-based color scheme offset by multi-colored stripes on both the lateral and medial sides.
The Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1 first emerged onto the sneaker scene at the 2023 Berlin Marathon when Tigist Assefa wore the shoe and set the current women’s marathon record time by finishing the 26.2-mile race at 2 hours and 11 minutes.
Currently, release details for Pharrell’s “Earth” Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1 collab have yet to be announced.
