Comedian Pete Davidson and model Elsie Hewitt are going to be parents! Almost-tattoo-free Davidson and Hewitt, who have been publicly together since March, announced the happy news on July 16 with a sweet Instagram post featuring pictures of the two of them together at home, and the comments were immediately flooded with congratulatory messages from their friends. This is the first child for both of them (here’s a complete relationship timeline).
“welp now everyone knows we had sex” wrote Hewitt under the post. In the first slide, the two embrace on a staircase in front of a shelf of VHS tapes; in the second, they hold hands while looking at a sonogram.
“my bestie is having my mini bestie which means my life is complete” commented fellow model Meredith Mickelson, adding in another comment, “HEHEHEHEHEHE IM SO HAPPY BEST MOMMY EVERRRRR 😭😭😭😭”

A source revealed in May 2025 that the two had moved in together. “Pete and Elsie have been living together in New York for the past few months,” they told People, adding, “They’re splitting their time between Pete’s house in upstate New York and a brownstone they recently started renting in Brooklyn.… They’re so happy together and doing great.”
The baby news is especially sweet in light of how open Hewitt has been in using her platform to raise awareness of endometriosis, which she deals with, and other reproductive-related health issues like period product access. She even revealed in a 2024 post that she’d had a surgery with the express intention of preserving her own fertility, which obviously worked. Davidson has also been open about his desire to start a family, calling it his greatest dream on a 2022 episode of Kevin Hart’s podcast, per People. Someone cutting onions in here? No?
