PDF is the brainchild of Italian designer Domenico Formichetti, who launched the brand in 2023 with a clear premise: fill the gaps in his own wardrobe, and in the wardrobes of anyone who sees the world the way he does.
What he built is something genuinely different from traditional Italian design; PDF eschews tailoring and luxury fabrics, instead leaning into painted denim, gender-fluid silhouettes, and the kind of cartoonishly oversized proportions that feel more indebted to youth culture than to the runway. The brand has already earned co-signs from Drake, Lil Yachty, and Central Cee.
