While the glam is vintage Tinsel Town, Carthen seems to be taking at least some of her Golden Globes style cues from Elphaba of Wicked. A few days prior, at Golden Eve on January 6, she wore a Seven Dejana gown with elaborate, beaded green embroidery on both the sculptural bodice and sheer black skirt. Tying the whole look together was a bright green sash at the hip, which ended in a long train. “Soft glam, strong presence,” Carthen wrote over her own Instagram post of the look.

Nic Vansteenberghe, the man who puts the “Nic” in “Nicolandria,” was not present on the Golden Globes carpet alongside his girlfriend, but Olandria Carthen is clearly more than capable of dominating a red carpet all on her own, thankyouverymuch.
