The rollout for the Nike LeBron 23 is underway, and up next for LeBron James’ latest signature shoe is one that pays homage to the sneaker he wore during his NBA debut over two decades ago.
Official product images of the “Grand Opening” LeBron 23 have emerged on the backend of Nike’s website. The style is directly inspired by the color scheme of the “First Game” Air Zoom Generation and even has the Oct. 29, 2003 date embroidered on the ankle when a rookie James and his Cleveland Cavaliers team played the Sacramento Kings. This sneaker also features James’ classic “LBJ23” logo on the heel and on the medial portion.
Despite images of the sneaker surfacing, a firm release date for the “Grand Opening” LeBron 23 has yet to be confirmed by Nike. Check back soon for official updates in the coming weeks.
