As confirmed on the SNKRS Showcase this summer, Nike is rereleasing the “Pearl” Foamposite Pro this holiday season.
This “Pearl” colorway of the Foamposite Pro hoops shoe was first released in 1997 and is synonymous with NBA Hall of Famer Ray Allen’s character, Jesus Shuttlesworth, wearing it in Spike Lee’s classic film He Got Game. The style gets its name from the upper’s resemblance to the gemstone. The shoe also has black accents on the Swoosh, the tongue, and the eyelets, while a black shank plate and a translucent outsole sit below.
Prior to this year’s reissue, the “Pearl” Foamposite Pro has retroed four different times, including in 2002, 2009, 2010, and 2015.
The “Pearl” Foamposite Pro is scheduled to release on Nov. 28 via SNKRS and at select retailers for $240. Scroll on for a detailed look at the sneaker.
