It’s genuinely difficult to find two bigger names in American fashion than Nike and Levi’s. Both brands more or less originated the lanes they inhabit—Levi’s is credited with inventing the blue jean in 1873, while the Swoosh all but birthed modern sneaker culture with the launch of the Air Jordan 1 in 1985. And given all that history-making DNA, it’s no surprise that the two often thrive when teaming up.

Over the years, Nike and Levi’s have jammed on a grip of classic Swoosh silos, from a black denim Dunk SB Low to a trippy take on the Air Force 1. This week, they’re back at it with their most expansive collection yet, a three-shoe drop centering on one of Nike’s biggest priorities in 2025: the Air Max 95.

For those of you who haven’t been keeping up, Nike brought back the original ‘Big Bubble’ Air Max 95 silhouette this year to commemorate the shoe’s 30th anniversary. It’s been subject to new riffs from collaborators like A Ma Maniére as well as some revitalized classics. The Levi’s collab marks one of the highest-profile takes on the shoe, a longtime sneakerhead favorite, and keeps it simple by allowing both brands to do what they do best.

Each Levi’s Air Max 95 comes draped in classic denim, with three shades making up the drop. There’s a black denim version (with a black sole to match), a creamy off-white spin (with a sole mixing white and classic gum), and a third cast in faded blue. The last is a slight departure from the others in that it’s not quite as uniform in its color, with the lace holes and other details utilizing an unwashed indigo denim to set off the more worn-in light blue that covers the rest of the upper. Each colorway features Nike branding as well as the iconic red Levi’s tag.

Nike and Levi’s launch the Air Max 95 collection via SNKRS and select retailers today, July 12, at 11 a.m. EST.
