At this point it’s a well-established routine: A Ma Maniére speaks, the sneaker world listens. Ever since their first Air Jordan 3 dropped back in 2021, the James Whitner-led group has remained on a serious collaboration hot streak, putting their stamp on silhouettes like the Air Jordan 5 and Air Ships. They’ve got a well-established aesthetic, often playing with toney beiges, blushes, and violets, and a keen eye for storytelling through sneaker design. Last winter, A Ma Maniére commemorated a decade in the industry by dropping the massive While You Were Sleeping collection with Nike, a line that spanned 10 silhouettes and firmly established them as one of the Swoosh’s premier collaborators. In 2025, they’re kicking off Year 11 in style.
This month sees the drop of the ‘For the Love’ collection, a three-shoe ensemble featuring some classic Nike silhouettes put through the instantly identifiable A Ma Maniére lens. Under the Swoosh banner, the group offers up the ‘Hand Wash Cold‘ duo, comprised of the Air Force 1 and the Air Max 95. Both silhouettes are familiar fodder for AMM, with this round dripping out the Forces in a sleek black upper contrasted with off-black soles and white accenting around the swoosh logo. For the 95, streaks of suede and leather adorn the upper, blending subtle navy in with neutral blacks and grays.
