Now that those Luke Newton rumors have finally died down, we can concentrate on Nicola Coughlan’s (rumored, unconfirmed) boyfriend, British actor Jake Dunn.
For pretty much the entirety of the Bridgerton season three press tour, Coughlan was besieged with rumors that she and Newton were romantically involved off screen as well as on, which goes to show you the dangers of having too much chemistry with your costar. But then, in August of 2024, Coughlan and Dunn were spotted arm-in-arm at a music festival in London, alerting fans to a potential new romance.
Dunn is best known for the Disney+ series Renegade Nell, which also stars Coughlan’s Derry Girls costar Louisa Harland. Just food for thought.
Neither person has commented on the possible romance but, in any case, here is as complete a timeline of Nicola Coughlan and her new boyfriend’s relationship as we have right now.
October 23, 2024: Celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi posted pictures of Coughlan and Dunn walking together in London. The photos show the pair holding hands, and with Dunn’s arm around Coughlin’s shoulders. In one photo, Coughlan appears to kiss Dunn’s forearm.
August 26, 2024: Coughlan and Dunn were photographed together at the All Points East Festival in London, per the Daily Mail. Coughlan is shown with her arm around Dunn’s waist in several of the pics, very much indicating that they could be together together.
July 2024: DeuxMoi published photos claiming to show Coughlan and Dunn playing Scrabble together at a London pub.
