Maison Margiela unlocks after-hours curiosities with their upcoming Fall/Winter 2026 collection, inspired by Parisian flea market culture.

During Shanghai Fashion Week, the illustrious fashion brand presented their new collection, marking the first time Maison Margiela held a runway show in China. The luxury brought porcelain dolls to life in the form of masked models to showcase couture pieces from their ready-to-wear and Artisanal collections.

Following the grand production, Maison Margiela will host twelve days of exhibitions and activations spanning four cities in China, including an Anonymity of masks exhibition in Beijing and Bianchetto experience in Shenzhen.

With essential materials and touches like porcelain, beeswax and frayed tapestries intended to reproduce vintage wear, the details are exhibited in the brand’s Edwardian-crafted knit sweaters, roomy waistcoats, and raw-cut wool dresses. Among other Maison Margiela wear, mystery blends with grandeur in the brand’s wax-coated metallic jewelry, wrapped 5AC bag and the men’s Float shoe, which comes in distressed, brushed leather and patent designs.

For Fall/Winter 2026, Maison Margiela takes the unconventional and gives it a refined expression.
