After years of trying, Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton, who met and married on the first season of Netflix’s hit reality dating show Love Is Blind, are expecting their first child together. And they announced the happy news with a fake movie trailer, complete with voiceover and action montages. It’s so adorably 2008 of them (a compliment).
The voiceover narrating their journey begins, “In a world where love is blind…” The announcement video, posted May 26, features clips from their romance on the show, from the engagement to the wedding, then transitions to dozens of commenters asking them when they’re going to have kids.

“Should we just tell them?” Cameron asks Lauren. “Nah,” she replies. “Let’s draw it out. It’s good for engagement.” She’s putting a positive spin on the sometimes-grueling process of getting pregnant, and the video shows them injecting hormone shots and tracking ovulation for years as part of “Operation Baby.”
And now.… Lauren is pregnant! Baby Hamilton will premiere in fall 2025, and fans of the couple are over the moon about it. In under 24 hours, the couple’s posts about their news have racked up tens of thousands of comments and hundreds of thousands of likes on Instagram.
“I lost my father [at] Christmas of last year…we took this [pregnancy] test the end of January, beginning of February, so this was literally light in the darkness. This was like, wow. The spark that my whole family needed. We’ve been trying for a long time,” Lauren revealed to People. “It was a little bittersweet because my dad’s not here physically to be with us, but we know that he’s watching over us…We just felt so blessed, so grateful and happy, excited. Then it hit like, ‘We’re going to be parents. Oh my God.’” Congratulations, you two!
