Lohan wore a pair of oversize sunglasses (you can take the girl out of the 2000s, but you can’t take the 2000s out of the girl) and a wide-brimmed sunhat, though I have to imagine that her choice in accessories had more to do with going incognito than making a fashion statement. That, and sun protection.
A pair of mesh ballet flats with a single buckle (they look a lot like Alaïa’s Mary Jane flats, which have been knocked off ad nauseum) added a modern element to the whole Dolce Vita vibe, and also matched her quilted black Chanel bag.
Then there’re her all-white looks, which epitomize that effortless “it’s too hot for anything else” Mediterranean style mantra. Both dresses are slightly sheer, but feature an opaque layer. The second look has a bit of lace trim at the hem, not unlike Kate Middleton’s and Jennifer Lawrence’s recent white skirts. (Wee-woo trend alert.) Of course every outfit is instantly upgraded when you dress your baby to match, as Lohan did.
