The “Strike” rapper took to his Instagram Story to show off his diamond-encrusted earring, chains, ring, and grills, writing, “Can’t speak for dem but my shit gone hit.”
It appears Lil Boat’s comment is a response to the internet’s latest debate of who is outshining who in jewelry: athletes or rappers. Fans were stunned when at a post-game conference in December, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, Jalen Hurts donned a diamond Cuban-link chain so dazzling that one X user wondered if it had “batteries in it or somethin?”
Hurts’ pendant reads “Breed of One,” and appears to have been crafted by Gabriel the Jeweler in 2022.
According to Hurts’ website, “Breed of One” is his “personal mantra of striving to be the best version of himself and not letting others define his identity.” Jalen also has a Breed of 1 clothing line.
Hurts also made headlines on Sunday when he arrived at the Eagles-Commanders NFC Championship game dressed in a ’90s-inspired outfit. The 26-year-old wore a black Kangol, beige trousers, black loafers, and a black Louis Vuitton bag, resembling 1990s actors Allen Payne and Shemar Moore.
