Lids has teamed up with Made for the W for their latest headwear collaboration: the “Established” Collection, a custom line of New Era 59FIFTY fitted caps that pay homage to the roots of WNBA teams. The hats are available exclusively through Lids and mark the third consecutive partnership between the two brands.
Each fitted in the “Established” Collection features a two-tone design, a commemorative side patch representing the team’s inaugural year, the “MW” emblem stitched over the eyelet, and a classic gray undervisor. The release also includes the first-ever fitted cap for the league’s newly announced expansion team, the Golden State Valkyries.
To celebrate the launch, an in-store event took place at Lids Atlantic Station in Atlanta on Saturday, June 1, from 12 PM to 3 PM ET. Attendees were treated to appearances from the Made for the W founders, live music, and refreshments.
The full collection will officially release on Tuesday, June 3 at 12 PM ET on LidsHD.com and in select Lids and NBA Store locations across the country. Each cap is priced at $49.99 and offers fans a bold way to celebrate the league’s heritage
