Liam Gallagher and Stone Island go way, way back. In a 2023 interview with the BBC, his brother Noel said the Manchester-born artist got his very first Stoney parka when he was just seven years old—and he’s been wearing them ever since. Late last year, he even fronted the label’s ‘Community as a Form of Research’ campaign while wearing the ‘Jock’ jacket. So you’d think that for Oasis’s legendary comeback, Gallagher would be rocking the badge once again—but he had other ideas.

On the first night of the Oasis Live ’25 Tour in lovely Cardiff, the lads took to the stage, spent a few minutes soaking in the vibes, and then launched straight into “Hello,” the opening track from 1995’s (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? Gallagher planted himself in his trademark stance—body pitched forward, arms clasped behind his back—all while wearing a jacket from…Ten C.

Ten C, as it happens, does have deep-seated Stoney ties. The Italian label was founded in 2010 by designers Alessandro Pungetti and Paul Harvey, who met while working at C.P. Company—a.k.a. the iconic Bolognese sportswear brand that was founded by Massimo Osti, who later went on to found Stone Island. Ten C has become revered in menswear circles for its technical outerwear, which is largely manufactured in japan.

Gallagher’s jacket hailed from Ten C’s 2024 ‘Manhattan Camo’ collaboration with Awake NY. A special edition of the brand’s Skye Ten anorak, it’s crafted from dyed nylon and lined with 11oz Original Japanese Jersey (or OJJ, for short). There’ s a built-in hood up top with drawstring adjustment, and across the front, you’ll find three pockets to store all your stuff. Gallagher wore the jacket in a dark olive colorway, which he buttoned right to the top.

This collab wasn’t particularly hyped. But Liam liked it so much that, during the second night of the tour, he pulled up in the same jacket, this time in a bright lime palette. And honestly? Fair play to him.
