Nike isn’t just planning to celebrate LeBron James as the newly crowned Forever King through the release of his newest signature shoe, but a special LeBron-themed Air Force 1 also appears to be hitting retailers soon.
Earlier this month, Frankie Walker Sr., the father of James’ childhood friend Frankie Walker Jr., shared a photo on his Instagram Story of an unreleased LeBron x Nike Air Force 1 Low. The sneaker features a premium black patent leather upper offset by a gold lace lock at the forefoot. The standout element of the sneaker is the updated midsole design, which is now shaped to look like an outline of a crown—similar to the upper of the LeBron 23. The image from Walker Sr. also reveals that the shoe will come in a special box.
Despite an early look, release details for this LeBron x Nike Air Force 1 Low have not yet been announced by the Swoosh. Check back soon for official updates in the coming weeks.
