Kristen Stewart has upped her layering game for 2026, using a traditional base garment—the white sleeveless tee—as the finishing touch on top of, rather than under, a shimmery dress, giving the look a cool, lightly androgynous edge.
The Chronology of Water director stepped out in New York City for an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers wearing a shimmery see-through dress over black underwear, plus the White Sleeveless Margo tank from Leset ($78) in white. She accessorized with heeled boots from Casadei and kept her makeup minimal. The star of her beauty look is definitely her asymmetrical, choppy bangs.

Keeping it fashionable but chill is exactly what KStew has planned for the rest of the year. The day before her appearance on LNSM, she spoke at an event at the Palm Springs International Film Festival and reflected on her very busy 2025. “I’ve had the craziest year of my entire life. I got married. My wife made her movie; I starred in it. I made my movie. We went to Cannes. It’s now actually coming out in theaters…. I was so carbonated over the last year. I need to get flat…. I need to go fizz out,” she said, per People, explaining that resting and resetting is part of the creative process.
“I need to go back, fill the well, figure out what my next movie is,” she continued. “There are a couple of things I want to do, but you need to, I need to chill before I can actually come back with the gusto that it’s going to take to make those movies.”
