Kim Kardashian is seemingly confirming that her latest look didn’t break the bank.

The 45-year-old star, who arrived at 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party donning a custom Gucci gold-sequened gown, apparently paired the dress with a pair of $80 heels.

On Tuesday (March 17), she re-shared a video from the Instagram account, I Deserve New Shoes, that said she wore the Pleaser Flamingo 808, which reportedly retail for $79.95.

The shoe features an eight-inch heel, four-inch platform, clear straps, with a gold mirrored finish.

“A shoe built for performers, not red carpets. She wore it to both,” the voiceover says in the clip. “A billionaire in an $80 heel next to every luxury brand on Earth. That is not a budget move. That is the most confident shoe choice of the night. Would you wear $80 heels to the Oscars?”

Despite the modest price tag, the shoes weren’t quite fall-proof.

Kim also shared a video of herself taking a slip in her heels while getting help from nearby people who caught her fall.

Kardashian told Complex for her February 2026 cover story that she identifies as a “fashion girl” and reflected on whether that shift might make her seem less relatable.

“Even though I might wear something that might seem inaccessible, I think it can be relatable and obtainable through my choice of simple colors and silhouettes,” she said at the time. “I’ve always incorporated simple things that can be easily replicated. In those moments when I do wear the more over-the-top red carpet looks I always love to share the secrets I’m learning through that process of getting dressed that might be a helpful trick for the everyday women.”
