It’s been a long road for Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, who first began a flirtation in early 2016. Over the next nine years, their relationship went through several ups and downs, including an early breakup, one engagement, one child, and yet another breakup.

“I always say when he walks into the room, he has this joie de vivre to him, and some people ask, ‘What is this guy on?’” Perry said of Bloom in a 2022 podcast interview with Chelsea Handler. “He’s just really got this happy, posi vibes, and I’m a little bit more heady and prone to depression in some ways—and so it’s good for me to be around him because he gets me out of my head a little bit.”

December 30, 2025: Perry and Bloom attend Paddington: The Musical in London with their five-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, marking their first public reunion since their split. The exes also brought Bloom’s 14-year-old son, Flynn, whom he shares with Miranda Kerr.

The coparents posed for a group photo alongside the cast of the musical and other celebrity guests, which was then shared on the Paddington Instagram account. Bloom kneeled in the front row of the photo with his children, whose faces were blurred, while Perry stood behind them with her hand on Flynn’s shoulder.
