Kate Middleton just combined the brown suede bag trend with her light blue midi dress.
They say you never stop learning. Every experience teaches you something–and that extends far beyond school, vocational training, or university studies. What applies to hard skills like foreign languages or general knowledge also applies equally to soft skills like communication skills or teamwork. And you can always learn something new when it comes to fashion and styling. Not only because trends are constantly evolving, but also because you can learn from styling ideas. The most recent example: Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales.
For the visit to the charity “Anna Freud,” which focuses on children’s mental health, the Princess appeared in a light blue midi dress by Emilia Wickstead, which had long sleeves, a shirt collar and a waist belt. The dress also had a fine houndstooth pattern, which enhanced the classically elegant look.
Fans of the princess will have noticed it wasn’t the first time Kate Middleton had worn the dress in question (which is hardly surprising, as Emilia Wickstead is one of her favorite designers). The Princess of Wales appeared in the same light blue model back in December 2022 during a visit to Harvard University in Boston. She wore black pumps to match the black houndstooth pattern and teamed them with a light blue handle bag.
Sure, Kate Middleton looked fantastic back then too, but her current styling actually looks a little more harmonious. The princess picked up on the blue tone of the dress with her choice of shoes, opting for pointed pumps in a gray-blue.
And her bag? Kate Middleton proved her sense of style here, as chocolate suede bags—which pick up on this fall’s hype surrounding earthy brown shades—are one of the most popular bag trends this year. The princess opted for a model from DeMellier, the brand behind the it-bags that are currently everywhere.
