Kanye West’s wife, Bianca Censori, has addressed her proclivity for daring, almost-nude outfits and allegations that her husband forces her to dress a certain way.

Throughout her relationship with Ye, Censori has often been seen in clothing that leaves little to the imagination. Most famously, she appeared alongside the rapper-producer at the 2025 Grammys red carpet, where she dramatically took off her fur coat to reveal an almost completely nude look.

Opening up in a rare interview with Vanity Fair, the 31-year-old Australian maintained that she doesn’t consider things like a sheer bodysuit to be nudity, but she did admit that she’s long held an obsession with baring it all.

“I had a quite obvious obsession with nudity,” she said. “I was naked everywhere. I didn’t detach with it at any point. I consistently showed the same imagery over and over and over again. I live my artwork.”

She also revealed that Ye first reached out to her while she was working at an architecture firm. She sent over her portfolio after he saw a selfie of her, and he offered her a job as “head of architecture” in Los Angeles. Leo Becerra, the director of her BIO POP project — a clothed art show that went down in December 2025 in Seoul, South Korea — said that when they met Censori, she took an interest in sourcing clothes from dance stores and sex shops. “She was always laughing, always dancing,” Becerra said.

Elsewhere in the chat, she addressed allegations that she was being forced to dress a certain way by her husband, a noted fashionista and perfectionist. “I wouldn’t be doing something I didn’t want to do,” she said, noting that every time she appeared nude or mostly-nude in public, it was her choice. “Me and my husband would work on my outfits together. So it was like a collaboration; it was never, ‘I was being told to do something.’ … If you were married to Giannia Versace, wouldn’t he give you a dress or something?”

Her producer, Ted Lawson, added that Ye would contribute during meetings for various projects, but he would know when it was time to focus on Censori. “[He] always has a thought about something,” Lawson said. “And it’s not like a loud thought. It’s often quiet. I would say he’s right almost all the time because he’s very sensitive and perceptive, even though he steps back and it’s Bianca’s work. She’s going to do what she wants to do.”
