Who expected the Summer Olympics to have as much ice as their winter counterpart? Plenty of the best athletes in the world decided to flaunt more than just medals in Paris.

Jordan Chiles and Simone Biles both hit the podium for the US women’s gymnastics team rocking some custom jewelry. German basketball player Nyarra Sabally also got in on the action with a new grill of her own. It wasn’t just Olympians. Central Cee and Kodak Black also made sure to show off their latest diamond-encrusted creations last month.

Take a closer look at the top 5 pieces of custom jewelry unveiled throughout July 2024, below.

5. Kodak Black’s Diamond Black & Mild Tips

Jeweler: Trax NYC

OK, so technically this isn’t jewelry, but we had to applaud the creativity here. When have you ever seen someone flood their Black & Mild tips with diamonds? Kodak Black reached out to Trax NYC to get it done, so he could smoke his cigarellos in style. There were white, yellow, and rose gold variations made for the “Dirt McGerk” rapper. Each is set with 3 to 4 carats worth of natural black or white diamonds. These things will run you between $2,700 and $3,700. That’s an expensive smoke break.

4. Jordan Chiles’ Grill

Jeweler: Done Right and Co.

We’ve seen plenty of precious metals at the Olympics in Paris this year and we aren’t just talking about the gold, silver, and bronze medals. Many athletes have flaunted special custom jewelry. One of our favorite examples was from US gymnast Jordan Chiles, who accepted her gold medal for women’s artistic gymnastics wearing a set of diamond grills. The bottom set featured two solid gold teeth, two gold teeth coated in pavé natural diamonds, and a diamond-encrusted bar. Two more gold teeth coated in pavé natural diamonds could be found on the top row of her teeth. One featured a heart.

The mouthpiece was crafted by Houston-based jeweler Done Right and Co., fitting since Chiles said that the design was an homage to Houston-native Beyoncé and the grill featured in many of the photos for her Cowboy Carter rollout. It’s hard to outshine a gold medal. Chiles’ grills did just that.

3. Nyara Sabally’s Olympic Rings Grill

Jeweler: Fine Ass Fronts

Sometimes you don’t need to think too outside-of-the-box to create something memorable. Case in point, Nyara Sabally’s grill that she got ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympics. The German women’s basketball player got a three-tooth top grill that mimics the iconic five Olympic rings. It’s made of 14k gold and features yellow, red, and black diamonds to match the individual colors of certain rings. When she isn’t competing for her country, Sabally plays for the WNBA’s New York Liberty. She hit up NYC-based jeweler Fine Ass Fronts for the special design.

2. Simone Biles’ GOAT Chain

Jeweler: Janet Heller

Chiles wasn’t the only member of the U.S. women’s gymnastics team who hit the podium in some new ice at the 2024 Games. Simone Biles flaunted a goat-shaped diamond pendant by Calabasas jeweler Janet Heller when she accepted her gold medal for the all-around. The small, white gold goat pendant is somehow flooded with 546 diamonds.

Biles is unquestionably the greatest gymnast of all time. Cementing that with a diamond chain is an incredible level of flexing that we can get behind.

1. Central Cee’s Queen Elizabeth Chain

Central Cee Queen Elizabeth Chain

Jeweler: A Jewellers

Central Cee debuted one of the craziest custom chains we’ve seen in recent memory last month. The UK rapper got a giant three-dimensional pendant of Queen Elizabeth II’s head from his go-to jeweler Abtin Abassi of A Jewellers. The design is meant to represent the rapper’s homeland, but also resembles how Queen Elizabeth’s face appears on British currency. One side is flooded with diamonds, while the other is polished rose gold. Cench rocked the insane chain throughout July for various appearances (we don’t blame him). You could spot it around his neck at Wimbledon, the F1 British Grand Prix, and on stage at Wireless fest with Ice Spice. This isn’t just the best custom jewelry we saw in July 2024. This one is an all-timer.
