Jordan Brand has partnered with Assouline to create a new book celebrating Michael Jordan and the legacy of his Air Jordan signature footwear line.
The Air Jordan book is available now in two versions, including a standard “Classic” print ($123) and a more premium “Ultimate” edition ($2,300) that’s limited to only 1,000 units.
The book details the 40-year partnership between MJ and Nike, which eventually became Jordan Brand. It reveals previously unseen items from Nike and Jordan’s personal archives and explores moments from MJ’s six NBA championships through different visuals.
“Sorry to disappoint you, but this is not a book about the game of basketball. Instead, it’s a celebration. A celebration of 40 years of greatness,” Michael Jordan said.
Both versions of the Air Jordan book are available now at Assouline.com, on Complex, and at select retailers.
