Jim Jones has teased a t-shirt that references his recent spat with the artist formerly known as Kanye West, but the acronym on it may not be the best idea.

Ye called out the Dipset rapper in a series of posts recently and claimed that he didn’t know how to make a PDF file, referring to the longstanding Portable Document Format used to present and store documents digitally. Jones is looking to capitalize on the claim with a t-shirt that reads “pdf” on the front, and a message on the back that reads, “These files contain confidential information and the IP (intellectual property) of the flyest n***as in NYC. PDF-Please Delete Friday.”

In the caption for the post, he added, “How bad yal want tht PDF (Please Delete Friday) I rather give it to th people Gotta remind them once again NEW LINE dropping ASAP.”

So why isn’t it a good idea? Internet users looking to get around internet algorithms that suppress potentially harmful or sensitive content, particularly on TikTok, use the phrase ‘PDF’ to refer to pedophiles. Other ways people have gotten around censorship from these algorithms include “unalive,” which often refers to suicide or homicide, but can be about death in general.

Language, especially in the age of ever-evolving internet slang, is always changing, and regardless of Jones’ intention, some netizens might interpret the t-shirt differently. Just something to consider, Capo.

Ye recently accused Jones of fleecing millions of dollars from him. “I know this gonna sound like some Terrentino [sic] movie but here goes,” wrote Ye. “Sooo Jim Jones got paid 2 million to introduce me to a gentleman named Mr Pink to discuss my crypto coin and never told me he was getting 2 million and never cut me in.” He also said that they were working on clothes together, and Jones told him he didn’t know how to make a PDF.

“Get one of your young n***as to make it Capo,” he wrote. “I actually love Jim Jones and I’ll never never go full Ye. But I want the PDF more than the money.”

In response, Jones joked that Ye was on drugs. “Ye sniffin Ye lol but keep my name alive champ we love KanYE,” he wrote. “He’s lucky I don’t have time to talk bout lies right now only the truth lol lol lol ‘At the Church Steps’ out right now.”
