Jim Jones rocked a New York streetwear brand on the rise in a fit check last month.
As seen in episode 20 of podcast Lets Rap About It, the rapper and podcaster wore the New York Penn-designed Kyoto Kimono in black, which retails at $258.
The piece also comes in sage, although both colors were sold out at the time of writing.
“New York Penn got some fly shit here,” Jones said in the TikTok below, adding that the designer, Jus Blanco, previously lived in China.
According to the product description, the Kyoto Kimono jacket is an “upgrade” from its original 2023 version.
New York Penn represents the East Coast with other pieces including jerseys, suede jackets, and a pendant modeled after the Statue of Liberty.
Jones and the rest of the Lets Rap About It crew—Fabolous, Maino and Dave East—regularly post fit checks on their official social media accounts for the podcast, which drops episodes weekly.
The crew still appear to be recording the podcast from their regular studio, although 50 Cent has claimed that the group is behind on rent.
In March, after words were exchanged between the podcast hosts and Fif for months, the latter released an AI-generated music video for “No Tricks, No Lies,” where he targeted Jim, Fab, Maino and East.
