Despite not being on social media, Jennifer Lawrence has always appeared to understand the digital zeitgeist—and like the rest of the internet, the actress and newfangled menswear star is still riding the Challengers high.

In New York City on Thursday, JLaw sported the hero merch from Luca Guadagnino’s tennis tryst: Loewe’s crispy luxury version ($330) of the worn-in “I Told Ya” gym tee that Josh O’Connor’s Patrick Zweig and Zendaya’s Tashi Duncan share in the film. She wore the tee tucked into a pair of high-waisted pleated trousers and accessorized with leather sandals, tortoiseshell shades, and a black Dior Saddle bag.

With Challengers serving as his first-ever costume designer gig, Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson created the “I Told Ya” T-shirt as a nod to the frisbee-in-Central-Park uniform of John F. Kennedy Jr., a pinnacle of preppy sex appeal. (“When JFK Jr. was younger, in the ’80s and ’90s, there was kind of an effortlessness to his wardrobe—like he could wear anything, and sex appeal would always be there,” the designer recently told WWD.) Like the film itself, the shirt has become an online sensation.

“The first time I threw mine on,” Hine wrote, “I was barely out of my front door when I saw another guy wearing one just like it.”

Now, I guess, that other guy could just as easily have been Jennifer Lawrence.
