Jaylen Brown’s sneaker history has been a complicated one, to say the least. The reigning NBA Finals MVP started his career as an Adidas athlete but parted ways with the Three Stripes in 2021, and has remained a sneaker free agent since then. Brown has gone on to wear mostly custom Nike Kobe styles despite being critical of the brand, including appearing to blame the Swoosh for him being snubbed from USAB last month. Now, it appears that Brown has his own independent sneaker on the way.
In recent months, Brown has been quietly teasing wearing an unreleased sneaker on his social media accounts. In his most recent post, the pair in question features what appears to be a low-top mesh upper paired with gem-inspired details throughout.
