On January 17, Venus (the planet of love, sex, beauty, and money) enters into eccentric and rebellious Aquarius. It’s a good time to consider: What unconventional dreams and desires do you have for your life that you haven’t quite allowed yourself to explore? Let yourself think outside of the box. The next day, on January 18, we have a new moon in earthy Capricorn. This will give us the chance to set intentions for long-term goals and not be so caught up on quick-fixes and addictive patterns this year. On the 19th, we end Capricorn season as the sun enters Aquarius, ushering in a chapter where we all follow the beat of our own drum, break out of sheepish thoughts, and enjoy paving our own paths.
When Mercury joins the sun and enters Aquarius on January 20, it will invite innovation to the forefront. Your thoughts and ideas might seem outlandish during this time, but it’s important that you share them and help others break the mold too. Mars joins the planetary pile up in Aquarius on the 23rd, offering us an opportunity to align our thoughts and our actions at full speed.
