With Hudson Williams at the forefront of the “Heartthrob Hair” revival, it’s no wonder his skincare and hairstylist Aika Flores has dubbed her signature beauty aesthetic the “Heartthrob Glow.”
Unlike “glass” or “glazed donut” skincare trends, Flores helps her clients achieve a more natural-looking glow, encouraging them to embrace their skin texture and imperfections. “Skin doesn’t have to look airbrushed, especially on men,” Flores tells Glamour ahead of the 2026 Oscars on March 15.
The key to a “heartthrob glow” is hydration and healthy habits that began well before the Heated Rivalry star got ready for ceremony. “He’s pretty good about it,” she says of Williams. “He drinks a lot of water…I can’t say he gets much sleep these days but you can’t tell.” Of course, she can always resort to threats. “I’m like, every time you lose one hour sleep, you get one pore,” she jokes, knowing full well that Williams hates the look of pores and “doesn’t want to see ’em.”
For Oscar Sunday, Flores decided to keep things “elevated” but not overdone. “The Oscars are generally a very formal and tailored,” she says of Williams’ look. “I wanted to keep that in mind but stay true and centered around Hudson’s personality, which as everyone knows is pretty big. I want it to be fun, making sure to not overwork the skin and the hair.”
To do that, Flores largely relied on products by Evangelo Bousis’ men’s skincare line Enhanse, which feature high-performing spray formulas of everyday necessities. “It’s very convenient and really easy for even men to have in their bag,” she says of the line. “At the end of the day, we want regular men—your boyfriends, husbands, whoever—to take care of themselves.”
