WHO DECIDES WAR is making sure its presence is felt amid New York Fashion Week festivities.
This Friday, those in town for NYFW proceedings will have a chance to experience a special WHO DECIDES WAR gallery retrospective. The pop-up walks attendees through the New York-based brand’s six-year journey. As longtime followers know, Everard Best, a.k.a. Ev Bravado, first started his namesake brand in 2015. In the ensuing years, the brand ultimately grew into what’s now known as WHO DECIDES WAR, which has generated acclaim (including an LVMH Prize semi-finalist distinction) under the artistic guidance of Bravado and Tela D’Amore.
Also on Sept. 6, IDEA GENERATION is set to host a special conversation with Bravado and D’Amore, presented by Lexus. The two will be joined by Noah Callahan-Bever, who was earlier this year announced to be making his Complex return as Chief Content Officer. But that’s not all, as the following day, Sept. 7, will see Complex hosting a livestream of WHO DECIDES WAR’s runway show. The presentation will be followed by a Siobhan Bell DJ set, as well as a surprise special performance.
The retrospective gallery is slated for 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time on Sept. 6, while the IDEA GENERATION conversation is set to start at 5:00 p.m. The livestream of the runway show, meanwhile, will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by Siobhan Bell at 2:00 p.m. and the aforementioned surprise performance at 3:00 p.m.
