Oh, Donna Kelce, you sly minx! Travis Kelce’s mom told everyone that Taylor Swift would not be attending the Kelce Family Thanksgiving, when in reality, the pop star’s crew were hosting the football-loving crew.

According to People, the 34-year-old pop star and her parents, Scott and Andrea, hosted the Kelces in Nashville ahead of Travis’ game against the Las Vegas Raiders on November 29. “Taylor and Travis had a great Thanksgiving together with their families,” a source told the publication. “It’s the first Thanksgiving they celebrated together.”

This time last year, Swift’s Eras Tour schedule kept her out of the country during the American holiday—which is exactly what Donna claimed this time around. During a pre-Thanksgiving appearance on Today, she was asked point-blank if Swift would be taking part in the Kelce family’s Thanksgiving plans. “I don’t think so,” she said on November 14. “She’s kind of busy right now. She still has her tour to do.”

At the time, she said the Kelce crew had no Thanksgiving plans aside from cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs on Black Friday. “I am going to be at a football game. Travis is playing the day after Thanksgiving,” she said. “You know, football is always the holiday. Football is family.”
