Hailey Bieber ditched her partner and her pants on the blue carpet at the 2025 Met Gala.
In honor of this year’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” and the broader dress-code, Tailored for You, Hailey left The Carlyle hotel for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a little black YSL blazer dress, vodka martini in hand.
Unfortunately, the martini glass didn’t make it to the blue carpet, nor did her husband, Justin Bieber, who instead chose to cheer on his wife—and the Toronto Maple Leafs—from afar. Instead Hailey walked the blue carpet solo, showing off her crystalized YSL tights, Tiffany & Co. jewelry, and Patek Philippe watch all by herself.
Meanwhile, Bieber was posting multiple photos and videos of himself watching the Canadian hockey team’s Stanley Cup playoff game against the Florida Panthers on the big screen. Confirming his priorities on his Instagram Stories, Justin shared @fullsendhockey’s post about his game night with the caption, “@justinbieber gassed the Met Gala for the Leafs game.”

In between highlight reels, Bieber was sharing photos of his wife’s Met Gala adventures on his Instagram Stories. The next morning he gave his wife a spot on his grid, sharing two of her looks in a post set to the Charlie Wilson track “There Goes My Baby.” He captioned the gram, “Tell em uncle Charlie.”
“We love a supportive husband,” one follower replied to his Instagram post of Hailey. Another wrote, “You can tell he’s super happy and proud of her.”
Justin Bieber hasn’t been to the Met Gala since attending with Hailey back in 2021, marking their first and the only time the couple walked the steps together. Though Hailey went solo in 2022, she skipped the 2023 Met Gala to focus on a Rhode release. Neither showed up in May 2024.
Perhaps we’ll see them join forces again next year—as long as the Maple Leafs aren’t playing.
