On Tuesday evening, Paris felt weirdly still. It wouldn’t last long. The June edition of Paris Fashion Week Men’s was about to blast off, the time of year when there’s a sky-high energy to the city, with editors and stylists and famous front row faces running laps on both banks of the Seine in pursuit of the next big fashion moment. You can feel it in the air. To toast the imminent menswear season, GQ and Instagram got together for a chill cocktail party. Hosted by Head of Instagram Adam Mosseri and GQ global editorial director Will Welch, our extended men’s fashion week family swung by the garden at the Hôtel Plaza Athénée to clink flutes and enjoy the rare moment of calm. Soon enough, it would be time to head out for the first shows of the evening.
