GloRilla went after some X users after they compared her to a woman that had her makeup applied carelessly.
Over the weekend, before and after pictures of a woman went viral. The first selfie showing her with a fresh face, while the second showed her with heavy makeup. The woman’s foundation appeared to be a few shades too dark, while her contour, blush, eyeshadow and black lipliner didn’t blend naturally.
As the photos went viral on X, formerly Twitter, some made comparisons between the woman and Glo, who immediately hopped on the app to defend herself.
“I’m looking thru dem quotes of dat ugly makeup girl & everybody dat say it look like me im in yall [n***a] dm right now,” the Memphis rapper wrote.
The “Procedure” artist was at the center of a botched makeup controversy last October, when Atlanta-based hairstylist and makeup artist Angelica White posted an Instagram reel of Glo during an appointment.
One shot showed Glo before her eyeshadow was set, and she took issue with the video being posted without her consent.
“& At da end of da day dat makeup was ugly den a bitch,” Glo wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “I just had blew up & was constantly getting free fuck ups she been was told not to post dat shit you can tell I hated it on da pictures I just use to be scared to tell people Dey can’t record cause I hate being mean.”
