Gigi Hadid is ready for fall layers, regardless of the New York City temperatures. In fact, she’s turned fall’s “toasty makeup” movement into an entire cozy-girl aesthetic, down to her trendy model-off-duty sneakers.
After starring in a Maybelline photo shoot on September 15, the 30-year-old Hadid sister was seen trading her structured denim jumpsuit for a taupe cashmere coverall by her own knitwear brand, Guest in Residence, which retails for $1,095. Alas, true sweater weather is not quite here yet, and the shirt portion of Hadid’s jumpsuit was wrapped around her waist, revealing a basic white tank top underneath.
With her camera-ready makeup and ultra-sleek ponytail combined with such a comfy, yet polished outfit, Hadid was the walking definition of model-off-duty style—which brings us to her autumnal footwear and accessories.
It’s never too warm for fall-coded pieces, and Hadid coordinated her beige jumpsuit with Miu Miu’s chocolate brown belted Aventure bag (with a plethora of bag charms) and suede, toffee-colored sneakers. Of course, brown kicks are shaping up to be the biggest sneaker trend of the season, particularly in slim, retro styles.
For her part, Hadid opted for a pair of russet suede and ivory leather Stella Sneakers by Larroudé. And while the photos make it somewhat difficult to tell if she wore the slip-on mules or traditional sneaker design, both are currently on sale for $175.
All summer long, the fashion set have been trading classic white sneakers for warm, earthy suedes, and the trend is not going anywhere in fall 2025. Not only are they easier to keep clean, but they’re a simple sartorial way to welcome the change in seasons without overheating in the awkward transitional month between August and October. No wonder Gigi Hadid is on board.
