Vans and Gallery Dept. have reconnected on another paint-splattered Authentic collab. After releasing a cream-colored iteration in March, the duo is now dropping a stealthy version of the sneaker this week.
The Los Angeles-based clothing brand’s latest “Art That Kills” Authentic collab is releasing as part of the OTW by Vans sub-label, typically reserved for more premium and limited collabs. The upper features a standard black canvas material and is offset by multi-colored paint splatters at the toe box. “Gallery Dept.” replaces the traditional Vans branding on the midfoot tag, while “Art That Kills” is printed throughout the midsole.
Gallery Dept. and Vans first collaborated in May 2023 with the release of their “Good Luck” Old Skool. The sneaker had a graphic upper inspired by vintage apparel and punk rock flyers.
Readers will be able to cop the “Art That Kills” Authentic collab starting on Dec. 11 at Vans.com/otw and at select retailers for $150.
