In case you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Amazon Prime Day 2.0 is happening. The second installation of Prime Big Deal Days in Amazon’s biannual savings extravaganza started yesterday (October 8) and ends today (October 9). Like the e-tailer’s summer blowout, October Prime Day is a great opportunity to save on everything from tech gadgets and home essentials to sneakers.

But some of the best discounts we’ve seen are on Apple AirPods. Nearly every single model is still discounted at the e-tailer, including the AirPods Pro (marked down to $169), and the 3rd Generation AirPods (reduced to $130). The pricey AirPods Max, which rarely go on sale, are currently up to $150 off in various colors.

Even the recently launched AirPods 4 model has a tiny discount to offer; while it’s just $10 off, we’ll be keeping close tabs on these throughout the sale.

The deals could be gone in a flash (we’ve already seen the 2nd-generation AirPods sale come and go), so don’t wait a second longer. Below, shop all the best October Prime Day AirPods savings before they disappear.

Does Apple participate in Prime Day?

Yes! Though Apple itself rarely marks down its inventory, past Prime Day sales have included steep discounts on many of the brand’s best-selling headphones, smartwatches, laptops, and tablets. Check out Apple’s Amazon storefront to easily view all its products on sale. If you’ve been looking for a sign to revamp your tech collection, this is it.

Is Prime Big Deal Days a good time to buy AirPods?

Amazon sporadically marks down AirPod models throughout the year, but outside of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, these Big Deal Days discounts are some of the best we’ve seen in months. Consider this your excuse to beat the holiday crowds and check everyone (including yourself!) off your list early.

Which AirPods model is best?

Honestly, it comes down to personal preference. If you’re fine with a simpler option, the 2nd Generation AirPods are the most affordable and offer up to five hours of listening time. As an upgrade from those, the 3rd Generation AirPods boast a longer battery life, as well as personalized spatial audio for a more immersive listening experience. The most recent version in the lineup: the AirPods 4, is designed to offer a more comfortable fit and features an H2 chip for clearer call quality.

That said, if you’re willing to spend more for all the bells and whistles, the AirPods Pro and AirPods Max have those features plus noise cancellation. It’s a choose-your-own-adventure of audio, really.
