I don’t know how long this latest capri pant era is going to last, all I know is that it is fully here. Case in point: Emma Stone wearing tailored black capris to a screening of her new film Kinds of Kindness on June 24 in London. She paired them with an orange-red V-neck sweater layered over a light blue oxford with classic black stilettos completing the schoolboy-inspired look. The Oscar-winner wore her hair in a messy bun accessorized with a skinny headband, with a natural beat and a dark red manicure.

Capris—specifically skinny capris that reach just below the knee—have come back in a major way over the past year or so, and have now officially reached peak trend status. As you might expect, the Hadids and the Jenners have been at the vanguard of this capri-aissance, along with Emily Ratajkowski and Ayo Edebri. Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner have both stepped out in black legging pedal pushers, while Gigi Hadid went even bolder with an acid-wash denim pair. Edebri, meanwhile, demonstrated how to style the controversial trouser as a suit at the Inside Out: 2 premiere. Now, Emma Stone seems to have picked up Edebri’s business casual vibes with her take on the capri trend.
