Drake is fully embracing his cartoon alter ego “Anita Max Wynn” with a new piece of jewelry, created by Jason of Beverly Hills.
“Having done a number of Owl pieces for Drake, I was excited to work with him on a pendant of his alter ego,” Jason Arasheben, jeweler and CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills, tells TMZ Hip Hop. “Just as the cartoon holds more meaning than meets the eye, so does the pendant.”
“The back features all the dates of his Australian tour with a secret compartment revealing the Toronto skyline,” Arasheben added.
Drake will kick off the Anita Max Wynn Tour on Feb. 9, which also happens to be the same day that Kendrick Lamar performs at the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show in New Orleans. The Toronto rapper nonchalantly announced the tour’s start date on xQc’s livestream in November, revealing he would be returning to Australia for the first time in eight years.
The 38-year-old will be making stops in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane throughout the month before heading to Auckland for the final two shows on Feb. 28 and March 1.
Drake first introduced the alter ego during a Kick livestream in Dec. 2023. Based on the loose translation of “I need a max win,” the character stems from his love of gambling and partnership with Stake.
According to TMZ Hip Hop, the pendant consists of three kilos of gold and 250 carats of flawless diamonds.
