Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell is paying tribute to his lifelong fandom of Haribo’s Goldbears candy with this upcoming collection of the Adidas D.O.N. Issue #6.
The Haribo collab has all the same performance features as standard editions of Mitchell’s sixth Adidas signature model, including Lightstrike Pro cushioning in the forefoot and Lightstrike in the heel, a midfoot harness for stability, and a breathable mesh upper. The aesthetics, however, are where things differ, honoring Mitchell’s favorite Goldbears flavors: raspberry, pineapple, and strawberry through two unique colorways. Both the white and red-based version feature gradient detailing and Haribo branding visible through a translucent outsole.
Along with the footwear, Haribo gifted Mitchell with 2,500 bags of “Spider’s Picks” Goldbears which feature a mix his aforementioned favorite flavors. The Haribo x Adidas D.O.N. Issue #6 will be available at adidas.com and select Adidas stores on October 31 and retails for $130.
