If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it a thousand times. Only Jennifer Lawrence.

Only Jennifer Lawrence could wear all-white silk-on-silk with mesh shoes and make it an absolute serve. Because make no mistake, J.Law only makes it look easy. On anyone else, this look could easily veer into pajama party territory.

The outfit in question was photographed on July 8 in New York City, and Lawrence combined loose, white silk pants featuring a center slit at the hems with an equally breezy white silk top. The blouse features a hint of a collar, soon-to-be-trending frog enclosures, and slits on the sleeves that mimic the trousers.

Lawrence accessorized the look with sunglasses and a black Dior saddlebag, as well as nude mesh flats from The Row, because Lawrence loves nothing more than an impractical flat shoe from The Row. The ensemble also includes a pile of gold necklaces, and if you look closely, you might notice the two initial charms on one of the gold chains, reading “C” and “L.”

We can guess that the C is for Lawrence’s son, named Cy, but what about the L? It could be for her own last name, Lawrence, but it could also be a hint at the first name of her second child, which she has not yet revealed.

Lawrence and husband Cooke Maroney’s first child, Cy, was born in 2022. Lawrence revealed in a Vogue interview that they named their son after one of Maroney’s favorite artists, the painter Cy Twombly. In October of 2024 she revealed that she was pregnant with the couple’s second child, who was born sometime in the spring of 2025. Lawrence hasn’t revealed much about her second baby, including the gender and name, but she has opened up about how motherhood has changed her and her career.
