Johnson knows that the nude dress does not fail in important moments. And also that Gucci is her closest ally. However, it seems that for this event she wanted to innovate without veering too far from her personal style. Thus, this dress is the perfect middle ground between her basics and novelty.
Typically, Johnson shies away from bolder colors, preferring pastels, neutrals like black and brown, or metallics for her red carpet appearances. That’s why this indigo is such a pleasant surprise. It’s not only very flattering against her skin tone and her deep brown hair, but also makes her eyes absolutely pop. Moreover, this choice has allowed her to coordinate her jewelry for a stunning monochromatic effect, as both of her rings feature huge sapphires.
