Concepts and New Balance are releasing a follow-up sneaker to their recent “Saignée” 740 collab with this upcoming “Brut” colorway shown here.

Much like the initial style, the latest Concepts x New Balance 740 makeup pays homage to the process of making dry champagne known as Brut. The name itself directly translates to “dry, raw, or unrefined” in French and is classified as the least sweet form of champagne.

The “Brut” 740 collab is dressed in a predominantly green mesh upper offset by an orange-colored tongue. Completing the look is a dark green Abzorb-cushioned midsole below.

“Continuing the storyline from our ‘Saignee’ 740, we chose to look into another champagne-making process that’s more familiar to the average wine drinker but just as complex,” Deon Point, Concepts’ creative director, said. “We were also inspired by the story of Madame Pommery, another female winemaker that set her own path in a male-dominated industry.”

Readers will be able to cop Concepts’ “Brut” New Balance 740 collab on Friday, Jan. 10, at Concepts stores in New York, Boston, and Miami for $120.
