Founded by Tobi Egberongbe, Mifland offers up vintage-inspired designs with a contemporary twist. While many new brands shy away from bright colors, Mifland embraces them. Just check out its assortment on Complex Shop, which ranges from summertime staples like mesh jerseys and camp collar shirts to knits that look like they’ve been splattered with paint.

Founded in 2017, this Toronto-based streetwear label is already making some noise stateside. Adidem Asterisks offers an elevated take on classic workwear and sportswear. Think baggy cargo pants covered in an original camo pattern or zip-ups with chainstitched logo hits. We’ll be honest, we still need founder Nicholas “Nicko” Bruno to explain the brand name to us, but the product is so good that we became fans regardless.

If you love vintage sports jerseys, but don’t necessarily have the time to dedicate to scouring your local thrift stores and favorite internet sellers, look no further. Frankie Collective offers a curated selection of jerseys and sportswear, from the iconic Champion NBA jerseys of the ’90s to more modern throwbacks of legends like Kobe Bryant and Stephen Curry. If you want something that you can guarantee nobody else will be wearing, the brand also reworks items into one-of-a-kind pairs of basketball shorts, bags, corsets, and more.

Ryoko Rain does a little bit of everything. If you’re into comfort, there are mesh shorts covered in bold patterns and overdyed sweatsuits. If you are in search of a statement piece, it also sells puffer jackets covered in psychedelic prints and work jackets that look like a bunch of Persian rugs spliced together. Since starting in 2021, its pieces have already made it onto some of basketball’s biggest starts like Tyrese Haliburton and Angel Reese. Not a bad start.

We all know Oakley for its amazing eyewear. Don’t sleep on its footwear. Since being conceived back in 2022 in partnership with Brain Dead founder Kyle Ng, Oakley Factory Team has been pumping out futuristic footwear with consistency. The craziest part is that some of these shoes that look like they were sent to us from the future are actually reissues from the Oakley archive. From hiker-inspired lace-ups to more cozy options like mules, there is definitely something here for every lifestyle.

Brian Saucedo’s Ghetto Rodeo is a perfect depiction of Los Angeles’ Chicano community and its wardrobe. Thus, it has developed a loyal following since it began in 2021. It even got a placement in the video for Kendrick Lamar’s West Coast anthem, “Not Like Us.” Despite its strong roots in L.A., you obviously don’t need to be from the West Coast to rep the brand. We over here on the East Coast are big fans of its baggy denim and long sweat shorts.
