Just because a cosmetic procedure is common doesn’t mean it works for everyone. Just ask Brooks Nader and Paige DeSorbo, two influential reality stars that recently got candid about the downsides of popular plastic surgeries and injectables.
On March 20, former Summer House star Paige DeSorbo proclaimed she doesn’t plan to get Botox “ever again for the rest of my life.” During the most recent episode of her Giggly Squad podcast, DeSorbo said she waited until she turned 33-years-old to try Botox, starting with injections in her forehead and around her eyes. A few months later, she added more to her forehead and targeted her chin, which she says “messed up her mouth.”
“I went overboard,” she said of the injectables. “I think it made me uglier honestly. Ultimately, I think my experience with it is I think it made my face look worse than it did better.” While she admitted the injectable was “phenomenal for my crows feet,” she says the “cons outweighed that one benefit.”
DeSorbo’s last Botox appointment was January and she still sees the effects in March. “I feel like it’ll be almost pretty much dissolved by the summer [and] I’ll probably be back to my normal face,” she said. “And I don’t think anyone could ever convince me to go back and get Botox.”
DeSorbo told cohost Hannah Berner that she wanted to share her perspective for the listeners she may have influenced to try Botox, whether they’re around her age or younger. “I know there are so many girls that listen to us who are in college and sometimes even a little bit younger,” she said. “I don’t think they should get it.”
At the end of the day, DeSorbo says she feels “hotter” at 33 than she did at 25 years old and doubts she will “go to a plastic surgeon and get something anti-aging” until she’s in her fifties.

Paige DeSorbo and the Art of Radical Relatability
When the 32-year-old Bravo personality split from her longtime boyfriend and spoke openly about anxiety and fertility, she became a figurehead for young women choosing themselves. And—with a successful podcast, a new book, and a top-secret fashion line on the way—it’s paying off.
The same day DeSorbo discussed the end of her Botox journey on her podcast, Love Thy Nader star Brooks Nader—who is also set to star in the upcoming Baywatch reboot—revealed her negative experience with liposuction in an interview with People.
“I had liposuction years ago, and I forever regret it because I just didn’t need it,” the 29-year-old model and actor told People at the Clarins Night of Extra at The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on March 20. “I feel like it created dimples and ripples and things.”
Back in November, Nader broke down her history of past plastic surgeries and cosmetic procedures to Bustle, including rhinoplasty, veneers, and a variety of injectables, including a “Nefertiti” Botox neck lift. “Every Christmas, you can catch me looking like Freddy Krueger,” she said of her routine, also sharing that she went on a GLP-1 to lose weight for modeling gigs and acting roles.
Liposuction, however, is clearly off the list, with Nader telling People, “We just got to do less with all that and be healthy.”
