Brittany Mahomes continues to flex her fashion girl muscles at Wimbledon.
On July 5, the 28-year-old NFL WAG was photographed wearing head-to-toe Gucci at the Wimbledon Championships in London, which she attended with her husband, Patrick Mahomes. While the KC Chiefs quarterback opted for his own light grey Gucci pinstripe suit, Brittany went full Tennis core in a navy, red, and white pleated miniskirt and matching polo, topping off the look with white sneakers and a cute red heart-shaped purse.
With the success of Zendaya’s press run for Challengers, tenniscore has quickly become one of the top trends of the summer, whether you know what to do with a racket or not. Though tennis stars like Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova have long had a foothold in the fashion world on and off the courts, even athletic-wear companies are getting more experimental for their stylish customers. For example, pro athlete Marta Kostyuk just rocked a tennis-dress version of her one-of-a-kind Wilson wedding gown (yes, the luxury sports brand) during a Wimbledon match on July 4.
While Brittany Mahomes’ Gucci heart bag (which retails for $1,905) kept her look from skewing too on-the-nose, I couldn’t help but notice how perfect it would look at a certain pop star’s concert… Luckily, she’s only a short flight away from Amsterdam, where Brittany’s close friend Taylor Swift will be playing two more Eras Tour concerts at Johan Cruijff Arena before moving on to Zürich. Unfortunately, the Mahomes family did not get to witness Travis Kelce’s surprise performance in London last month, but there’s always a chance for a reprise.
