By then, of course, the tryptophan will have long worn off and you’ll be ready to engage in what this great American tradition is really about: online shopping.
A word to the wise: in the lead up to 11/29, many of 2024’s best “Black Friday” deals have already gone live. (So much so, in fact, that GQ Recommends compiled a handy guide to them for your easy perusal.) On the day itself, though, expect far steeper discounts than during the week prior—along with a few old-school stragglers who refuse to slash prices until the actual holiday is upon them.
