Nike is getting a head start on celebrating the Lunar New Year with the introduction of the “Year of the Mamba” Kobe 5.

The aforementioned Kobe sneaker isn’t the only notable release this week, including the JJJJound x New Balance 2002R Gore-Tex, the Nike Air Max Muse in black and metallic silver, and the return of the popular “Black Cat” Air Jordan 3.

What You Need to Know: After selling out on JJJJound’s website last week, New Balance is releasing their 2002R Gore-Tex collab again today. The sneaker features a combination of premium leather and Gore-Tex mesh on the upper, which sits atop an Absorb-cushioned midsole.

What You Need to Know: Nike is getting ahead of its Lunar New Year celebrations later this month with the release of a special “Year of the Mamba” Kobe 5 Protro. The upper is dressed in a predominantly purple eggplant hue offset by a gold snake design intertwined with the Swoosh on the sides.

What You Need to Know: Nike is finally ready to release its futuristic Air Max Muse this week with the arrival of the black and metallic silver colorway shown here. The sneaker features exaggerated proportions on the upper and down to the Air-cushioned tooling.

What You Need to Know: It’s been nearly 20 years since the “Black Cat” Air Jordan 3 was first released and this Saturday, the stealthy colorway is returning to shelves. The sneaker retains its all-black color scheme, starting with the nubuck upper with a patent leather mudguard and elephant print overlays at the forefoot and heel. Completing the look is a all-black tooling.
