During her set, Ballerini performed an unreleased single before leading the crowd in a rendition of “Lean on Me,” which most of the audience, including Bey, joined in on.
Knowles was honored as a Glamour Woman of the Year this year alongside other mothers of successful children: Maggie Baird, Mandy Teefey, and Donna Kelce.
In the cover story interview, Knowles said she feels the most proud when she sees her daughters doing what they love.
“There are so many proud moments, and it might sound cliché, but it’s the truest statement I could ever make: I’m the most proud when they do something that is artful that they love, but that also has good repercussions on the world,” she said. “I can’t stop smiling. After a while, you get kind of used to the big moments, but those kinds of moments are really, really different.”
