When you think of classic vintage haircuts, you’re probably not imagining bangs. But Bella Hadid is about to change that with her new, face-framing cut.
Unlike the straight curtain bangs of the Y2K-era or the heavily teased fringes of the ’80s, Hadid’s mid-century bangs are lightly curled forward in the front to create a little volume but are not parted in the center, making them a little more Jane Birkin and a little less Brigitte Bardot. It’s a style also endorsed by the likes of Cher and Jane Fonda back in the day.
